Now I've got a head unit in my car which can play DVD's with mp3's on it I need software that'll let me create this type of disc.

So does anyone have any recommendations for software?

MP3 discs are just standard data discs.

Any old DVD burning software will do the job. It's just a data disk as Eddy says

Nero, Roxio Creator, the builtin XP burning software, any of those and more besides. Just burn them as a Data DVD.

I have XP Pro with all service packs etc and I can't write to a DVD through windows directly. I can write to a CD-ROM no probs though.

as others have sad matt, its just a data disc, just drag over standard mp3's or wma's to the disc(they can be mixed, the headunit can cope with that ) then burn it and all finished
