timing belt?

Featured Replies

i have heard different timescales ref when the belt should be changed, am i right in saying it is 40k or 4 years my car is 5 years old but only 29k on the clock its a vrs does it need doing now? and how much should i pay for this to be fitted?

thank you in advance.

Belt interval is 120,000 miles or four years. But the belt should be inspected for wear at 60,000 miles and 20,000 miles thereafter.

Which basically means change the belt at 60,000 miles.
