They don't actually say which models have gone up or down.

Still the standardised steps between engines and trim levels makes sense.

Looks like an increase to me. The bottom of the range Fabia 1.2 Classic was a shade under

...more expensive than 5dr versions of Kia Rio, Vauxhall Agila, Perodua Kenari, Daewoo Matiz, Daihatsu Charade? All not great cars with the possible exception of the Daihatsu which is O.K.

The Kia has had goodish reviews and it's a big car for the money. There's also the Hyundai Getz which is the same price as the Fabia but includes three years' free servicing and a five year warranty. I don't regret buying my Fabia but there's plenty of competition at this end of the market.

Yes the Hyundai getz is an imatation Fabia. It's obvious to see what the Hyundai engineers studied! However it is more expensive than the cheapest 5 door Fabia. Kia Rio is an o.k car but I don't like it's looks. It's a lot of car for the money but I prefer the Daihatsu, I thought it was a class little car!

Interesting that the price of the Fabia elegance has been dropped...

IIRC it was more expensive than the vRS when I ordered mine.

The Cityrover is terrible! It looks O.K but the dash is terrible and flimsy. Not a good car, I think it might have made them more money if they had developed one from scratch.

Matt , your right about the Fabia Elegance although dealers discounted on it anyway. When we bought ours dealers gave us a good discount without haggling.
