Which cars have 2.0TFSI engine?

Featured Replies

As title really - just enquiring for a friend. :)

I know the new Passat, Octy vRS, Golf GTI and Leon Sport/Fr/Cupra...

So what older cars share the engine?

Audi A4 cabrio I overtook this morning had a 2.0T badge on the back - private plate though so I couldn't tell you the age

Chris

A4

Not sure about A6

Older cars? Not sure. The new Audi S3 has a pumped up 2.0 TFSI.

Looks nice too :)

VW - Passat, Golf, Eos, Jetta.

Audi - A3, A4, A6, and New TT.

Seat - Leon, Altea.

Skoda - Octavia.

Thats all of them.

A3, A4 and New TT.

Leon Sport, FR, Cupra.

Octy VRs.

Thats all of them.

I thought the Eos was the 2.0 FSI not the turbo ?

Audi A6 also uses 2.0TFSi engine.

Aren't they putting it in the new Sharan/Alhambra?

I thought the Eos was the 2.0 FSI not the turbo ?

Correct, the EOS uses the normally aspirated 2.0FSi engine

So it looks like a "nearly new" no options vRS is the cheapest way to 2.0TFSI ownership then :)

Isn't the Leon cheaper still? :D

19 years in the trade, working within the VAG franchise and last job at a VW dealer - and I didn't know that - how embarrasing

Still, I very quickly ignored the EOS - I was very keen to buy one when I came to the island. That was untill the techies came back of the course -- the first cars coming from the factory had some problems -- if the car failed a certain test that had to be carried out at PDi -- the roof has to come off, all well and good, but you need a special tool that costs

Chris

Yes, the Leon FR is the Chepeast

The Leon Sport was the cheapest, but they don't do that model anymore!

Isn't the Leon a lesser powered version of the engine?

Ah yes, will depend on whether he's buying new or not. For nearly new I see 14k will get you a '55 Leon Sport with 4.5k miles on (Seat approved used cars)!

Chris

Sport is 182bhp, and FR is 200bhp :D

Chris

ps You never said it had to be a powerful version :P

The new Leon Cupra will have 240bhp when it comes out at the end of the year

Based on you previous posts, it'll be a 1.4 turbo and supercharged version :D
