Can the hand brake cable "give", or can it just be worn brake pads and discs? The handbrake works fine, you just have to pull it up quite hard, so hoping the "slack" is the displacement of the pads

Bought the discs and pads today, but the combination of torrential rain and no wind back tool meant I didn't get round to doing it.

Hopefully this weekend. Halfrauds do have a wind back tool for £20.

Been phoning around for tyres too. Will probably get some pirelli zero neros as they're well rated (well, Jon loves them) and now they're as cheap as the Toyos and other "cheap" brands

Is the handbrake self-adjusting on the Fabia like cars with drum brakes for the handbrake?
