But where can I find the technical data for how many litres of oil my engine needs, in total? And is there anyone who knows how much oil there is between the "low" and "full" mark on the stick?

I think I need to top up, for the first time ever.

The engine is a 1,6 i. The car is great.

3.5, 4.5 or 4.7 litres with filter depends on the engine code Look at the cam belt cover sticker and there should be a 3 letter code AEE, AVU,AKL, AEH or BFQ, this will also be on the data sticker in the boot and in the service book.

Typically any capacity between min and max is 0.75 to 1 litre. As it is very important not to over fill with oil try 0.5 litre first, if it is on the min.
