I Love It!!!...

Featured Replies

:star: Picked up the Fabia vRS on Thursday- fantastic!! Scared myself pulling off a roundabout but a few laps of Peterborough got me and FranV8 used to the car. Was taunted by a girl in a yellow(!) MG rover but was not playing - still running in! :turtle2:

Gutted to wake up to rain on Friday morning - Black is going to be a nightmare to keep clean - any tips?? Car going to be a joy to commute in - will make the A1 slightly more bearable.

Welcome to Briskoda, although I guess you've been browsing around before :)

Nice little car isn't it? I still like mine too :D

Enjoy the roads! And run it in carefully. As i have done.

And welcome to Briskoda.

Will have to keep an eye out for you! I'm a black vRS owning peterborough resident myself. Great little cars. Cleaning, don't get me started. I've already cleaned mine more times in the 2 months we've had it than I ever cleaned the previous car, and I've spent loads on car washing stuff. Must be at least £60-80! Maybe I'm taking it a bit far, but I really don't want to swirl the lovely shiny black paint!

Hi and welcome to Briskoda :)

I have a black vrs aswell and I got a lot of advice from Rich (I think!) from Car Care - The finest products, the best advice - Polished Bliss I must've ordered about a hundred quids worth in the end but it was due to sheer excitement :o

Get some nice alloy protector for your wheels and they will be much easier to clean. The Meguires little tub of metal polish does the exhaust lovely, and again the more you use it the easier it is to clean next time.

I can also recommend Polished Bliss they offer a brilliant service and offer loads of good advice.

Glad you are enjoying the new car

well, use some Alloy wheel Wax as it keeps the dirty black marks off the alloy wheels and makes it easy to remove braske dust without having to put "elbow" into it. Also get it supergaurded and use gaurd restorer after you wash it, mine looks ace still!
