Featured Replies

2 years ago swmbo asked what I would like for my Birthday, she just forgot to say which one:rolleyes: I asked for a couple of x-stitches doing, (one of her hobbies) the second of which was finnished last night:eek:

Wether you like Schumacher or not you have to admit they look pretty impressive, can't wait to get the second one framed:thumbup:

yes. The portrait took her 6 months (36,500 stitches) and the car 12 months (55,850 stitches) but she did other 'projects in between:eek:, got another three for her to attack next, but may be a really long wait:rofl:

they look rather good

I only asked, i realised you had originally said it the first time, but, i think the word 'Shock' made me re-post. They're excellent! Is there a trade for this kind of work?

I would estimate that the car took about 750 hours and that is being conservative, Given in her daily earner she's on about £10 an hour I doubt anyone could afford to buy them complete:O However if you are feeling very rich;)

Doesn't bother me. Group Buy? :D:rofl:

Nice handy work!

Very impressive!!

Pat, does your wife still have the pattern for the racing car? Or, where did she buy it? I'd like to get my swmbo to do one for me. She x-stitches too. ;)
