am looking to tow a trailer with my octavia vrs so was trying to find out the weight of the car and what it can tow i looked on the vin plate and these numbers

does anyone know what these are or does anyone have the figures for the kerb weight of an 02 octavia vrs cheers for you help;)

its the 1810kg figure i think of the top of my head anyway

Total permissible weight of car and braked trailer - 3110 kg

Total permissible weight (of car) - 1810 kg

Permissible front axle weight - 1000 kg

Permissible rear axle weight - 1000 kg

Permissible weight of trailer drawbar on the ball head of the towbar - 50 kg

Other relevant weights for the vRS are:

Unladen weight ready for the road = 1325-1375 kg (Figures apply to the base model and to certain model versions and optional equipment}

Payload - 485-435 kg (Depending on optional equipment)

Permissible trailer weight (Trailer with brakes) - 1300 kg

Permissible trailer weight (Trailer without brakes) - 500 kg
