hay all. quick question. if i change me wheels and tyres and the OD is slightly bigger, will i need to get the speedo re-calibrated?

i am thincking of 16" wheels with 185mm tyres, but i dont know what profile to go for!!! any ideas????

what width are the wheels you are thinking of getting??

if you go a 16" wheel with 6 or 6.5" width wheel (6J or 6.5J) then you should use a 195/40/r16 tyre which is roughly the same rolling diameter so wont cause any speedo problems.....

they cant be reclaibrated anyway, but it is possible to change the speedo drive gear on the gearbox
