Featured Replies

There is a box in that area with electrical cables going to it and I think that it holds the relays for the cooling fans and I think some sort of control for the air conditioning.

Hmmmm, I was asking because myair conditioning just stop working and eaven the fan/blower to have air at ambient temp it also dont work.

I check all the fuses (inside the car and on top of battery) and they are OK

I remember long time ago, I was in a place that fix air conditioning and I saw the guy fixing a Octavia and he have this box (exactly one as the one under the batt) and when he open it is was like corroded because water got inside it.

I ask him what it is and he toll me somenthing about that it belong to the aircon.

Thats why, I ask here what is exactly this box because maybe this can be my problem. Here in my country rain a lot and maybe you guys know if this part fail usually to water get inside.

What you think?

THX,

Isaac

Hey Fordfan, you was right. I just leave my car at the Skoda dealer so they check my aircon problem and ask them about that box and they toll me it drive the radiator fans.
