Who's got front & rear mudflaps on theirs?

Featured Replies

Just noticed I've got no mudflaps front or rear on the Superb.

Anyone had hem fitted or at least know how much they are from the dealer offhand.

I've noticed the rear of the car gets especially dirty quickly

according to superb accessories there are

I have them on mine, I personally prefer the look of them. Not everyones opinion I know, but taste is individual!

See my pics on my other thread entitled, "Here She Is!"

Mudflaps = wider meaner look from rear imo. Ignore baker :P :D do it!!

Excellent..Thanks Paul much appreciated.

I'm more grateful the fact I can see what mine will look like with tints as that will be happening on mine in the next few weeks all being well and wasnt quite sure how it would look!

Got to stick to my guns and say that mudflaps are a no, no but as stated it's an opinion that each person will have to make.

Mudflaps don't make the car look wider, especially if you have skinny tryes sticking out of the bottom and if you have wider tyres then surely you want to show that lovely wide tread pattern off?!??!

Each to their own......Taxi for Baker.....!!!

In that case, what use are the mudflaps??!?!?! LOL!!!

Passat mudflaps look as though they are the correct profile are are a couple of inches longer. I priced them up and they were about twice the cost of the Skoda items so I had the Skoda ones. They look OK but I question how effective they are.

Spent a few hours on the outside of the car on Wednesday, and then it rains yesterday. As has been said, without them, the back soon gets grubby, especially on silver!

Thanks

Chris

I think you just have to accept that with the Superb the rear end does get dirty, same with my old Bora.

Im with Baker, mudflaps make the Superb look like an old biddy's car !! lol

Glad I have them on mine. as it definately slows down the "dirty" look.

I'm concerned that this conversation has drifted from mudflaps to "dirty rear ends" I feel that there is too much sexual frustration on this forum

I agree with the above comment, I would also like to add that the word flap can be taken just too far! How many flaps does yours have?
