Featured Replies

Cleaning the car today and noticed that my white alloys are pitted, looks like rust spots, looking for advice to either remove pitting or if this is not possible is it covered under car warrantie? car not a year old, if left, god knows what it will look like in a years time. Very glump person under canvis :x

All white 66,

Are you sure it's not crap from your brake pads/discs that has adhered to the wheels and then rusted, as mine have. :?:As the wheels are alloy and should not rust. :!:

Yes my alloys are doing the same as yours. Mine is down to the highly corrosive nature of the pads I run.

As I see it you have 2 options:

1. But new wheels. Why are the white ones

Gary,

Phoned our local dealer, it is his view that he would need to see the car.

But even without he would push for replacment under warranty, certainly if within 12months and if the rest of the car is v good nick, i.e. you have not just done a rally then inside 3 as it should not happen.

So pop down to your dealer and see what can be done. They will log it with Skoda Uk and you should get an answer fairly sharpish.

Hope this helps.
