As title really, need to get my Felicia back up and running again after the ECU has died, gettting that replaced to the same spec as the one that died will put me in for a lot of money, almost more then the car is worth, so has anyone converted to carbs or know if it has been done, and if not who do you reckon are the best people to do it?

Cheers

Can't you pick up a second hand ECU cheap?

Already done that, still cant get the damn thing to run.

What's the symptoms?

Is it definitely the ECU at fault?

you would have to get the immobilzer codes matched to make it run with a second hand ecu.....

if you really wanted to convert to carbs you would need to change the fuel pump in the tank for a low pressure pump from a carb-model favorit because the fuel pump on the fuel injected models runs at too high a pressure for the float in the carb, also further to this i think it would be very difficult to get it to pass any MOT emission tests

i think that it is abad idea it is gonna take too much gas and i think it is easy to get the code for the E.C.U(i did it once in egypt) i think it will be easy for u

You dont need the immobilizer codes to get a Felicia ECU to run, all you need to do is erase the learned values in engine (adaptation, channel 00) and it will start.

How do we erase the learned values channel?

I think you need VAG-COM.
