Does anybody knows how to change the heating illimination bulb (central console just over the ash-tray) on Octavia (2005)? I will apreciate any help/info on that.

The illumination is via a bulb behind the heating fan control ****.

To access the bulb you need to remove the **** using a pair of mole grips padded with paper or card to prevent damage to the ****.

When removed you can remove the bulb using a drinking straw (don't use pliers as this will most likley smash the bulb), push the straw over the bulb as tight as you can then pull to remove.

I have done this on my car, now I need a replacement bulb.
