yet another newbie :)

Featured Replies

I've ordered my Skoda Fabia yesterday and upon coming home I found these forums.

I've read a bit through 'em and I can only say that is is about the greatest community I've ever seen.

I'm delighted to register and I hope one day my knowledge (which is now right about ZERO) related to cars in general and Skoda in particular will improve.

Thanks for reading this message, it means every new member matters to you.

I hope the best for everyone :Handshake

Oh yeah: I forgot to mention that I study Industrial Computer Science and I hope to work for VW Belgium when I do my training period next year. (I'm especially interested in output that you can get from the motor but also in the production process.)

Hi and Welcome to Briskoda! :wave23d:

I'm sure you'll enjoy your Furby....which model have you ordered? The number of Furby owing members is growing so, if your ever in need of any information, I'm sure someone will have an answer/idea.

Enjoy the site.

Cheers.

Adrian.

well I've ordered a classic 40kw in stone grey.

I got the radio/cd and the metallic paint job for free since it's the Car Fair here in Brussels right now.

Since it's my first car I didn't want to give too much money but I'll probably buy an Octavia in a few years when I've got a paycheck every month :)

I've just gone and ask about my insurance and it's 1094 EURO's for one year

I'm at level 11 (so it means it'll take me 11 years without an accident to get me to level 0 (this is when you pay the normal amount). He can't prove to the insurance that I and/or my dad drove without an accident, to get a lower level, since I've bumped my dad's car once against a mazda :(

Yeah, I know it was stupid but my sis made me totally ****ed off and I only drove for two months then so I was quiet inexperienced.

Welcome to the site whacker. :)

IIRC insurance on the continent works on you and not the car you drive, or am I thinking of the states? Seems a much better way of doing it than here where you get it based on you and on the car you drive.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your Skoda, I personally can't help much with the Fabia side of things, but there are quite a few people on here with them and they are very helpful people.
