Fabia cup holder doesn't spring out!

Featured Replies

I bought the 'elegance' cup holder for my Fabia vRS but having got it in there it won't glide out like it should. It seems to foul just about every other bit of trim on the dashboard.

Any suggestions?

I've had a problem with one of these and it was being trapped by the Radio, tried all sorts but couldn't make it work properly.

Since I put my cupholders in, my heated screen button sticks in:confused:

I must all be wiring related,so another job for my list in the morning:(

If it can be moved through its whole range but won't move under its own spring power, you should be able to get powdered teflon or graphite grease from a model shop, to act as a lubricant.

Is that safe for use in the bedroom as well:confused:

Well, I'm going to take it to a dealer and shell out the spondoolicks to have them fit it properly. And if they can't, then it'll have to go back.

Only if Mrs Grumpy is fitted with cup holders.............:)

They would have to be big ones..;)
