Just wondered if anyone might have any news on whether us beleaguered Sussex South Coast lot might be getting a new dealer some time?

Just enquiring as posted about my 13,001 trouble free miles in the 06 Fabia on the Freedom section, which is bound to bring out a gremlin/problem!

Likewise hoping that we get something in soon. Why Skoda can't d othe decent thing and appoint Clarion in Worthing as an approved service centre I just don't know. Clarion used to be one of their oldest dealers in the country but since Skoda have become dare I say it fashionable, they seem to be screwing the nuts of the old private dealers to the extent that some can see no future in it and pat company. Why can't they do as the French do and have a two tier dealership network with smaller dealers being able to carry on servicing etc. but without the agro of actually selling new metal with the accompanying targets etc. etc. ?

That's the Station Garage, Rudgwick crowd only they moved. I wasn't too impressed on the customer handling side and they were very derogatory with regard to Briskoda as an owner's forum/knowledge base, denying some of the Skoda retro fits/work arounds that have been discussed on this site in the past even when given the offical reference numbers. To be fair I think they know their mechanics.

Maybe things have changed as this was over a year ago and perhaps they have decided to take the opportunity of a new site to turn over a new leaf. I guess everyone deserves a second chance.
