Yep all round discs are featured on the 1.4-16v, 2.0l, and 1.9 TDI's :D

My Wife now has a 1.4 8v comfort (disk front/drum back), which runs very well for all it 64HP, but when I drive it I find the brakes feel a bit weak and I am not sure I would like to do an emergency stop in it. Does anyone recommend any simple upgrades (better pads maybe).

Before upgrading it's probably worth giving them a going-over. Full fluid change, free all parts and adjust handbrake. Check pads not glazed. Bed it in and try an emergency stop (but not in front of me please!).

Cheers will give it a good look over during the holidays.

Will make sure nobody behind when testing ;-)
