Has anyone else noticed that a lot of vag cars use the same design for the numberplate area on the boot lid as seen in my ascii art below.....

as far as i know its on all versions of the current fabia, VW Bora, VW Passat, Audi A4, Audi TT Mk1......

Alot of other makes do aswell.

Ford focus is alot like that also.

There isnt alot of variation you can do really, either goes in the tailgate or on the bumper.

Am I correct in thinking that you can get an "Oversize" rear plate that fits the whole area..........Similar to the Rover 75...............The standard plate looks a tad small for the "Shaped " area
