The X25XE, X26XE and X30XE as fitted to the Vectra SRi and GSI are cambelt driven.

Have a fair bit of knowledge on them.

My friend's Vectra SRI V6 had a snapped cam belt a week or two back.

I think it resulted in about 20 of 24 valves being bent and the car being effectively scrap.

It was well overdue for a change though so he has nobody to blame but himself.
