After what feels like a long wait a big parcel has just arrived for me at work containing the new 2-piece discs for my porsche brake setup.

I felt like a kid at xmas opening the parcel, especially as a small crowd gathered to watch!

Despite their size they are much lighter than I expected thanks to the alloy bell. Also before anyone asks I'll post a pic up tonight.

My last parcel i had was my free eneregy saver light bulbs from nPower. Gutted!

What calipers are you using?

4 pots from a Boxster (calipers are basically the same across the range) but using 332mm discs so a bit bigger than a Boxster S/996 C4S which are both 318mm.

Was very tempted by your old Brembo's. Those brakes should be awesome!

They're actually made by brembo as they're name is cast into the caliper housing.

Yes, I tried them on a friends car and they're very good. I didn't want to go any bigger on the caliper for fear of the master cylinder not been man enough. I sorted the discs through http://www.jbrperformance.co.uk

I fancy one of the rear kits when I have the money to futher uprate the R32 rears I have.

S4 Brakes should be a nice upgrade.

345mm i think :eek: if it can stop an 339bhp S4 with heavy V8 my little 1.8T will be no problem at all

Yup I think your'e right, everytime I see lurverly motor bits I come over all funny :P

Should have less unsprung weight too Eddy. Nice.
