Rear vRS anti roll bars.....

Featured Replies

What rear anti roll bars have people fitted to their vRS's?

I have an Eibach one fitted and think its bl**dy great:D, but it is only 25mm and the neuspeed ones are slightly bigger (28mm) but cost nearly twice as much!! do they operate better, or is the extra size irrelevant????

What are people’s thoughts and opinions on this matter??

I have a Neuspeed 28mm (adjustable) rear bar and standard 19mm front arb(front will be uprated to 23mm) which leaves me with a little bit of oversteer at faster speeds.

IMHO if your not going to uprate the front stock 19/21mm bar then go for the 25mm as i think will leave just a touch of understeer.

If on the other hand your going to uprate front arb to 23mm bar from golf r32 then go the whole hog and get 28mm bar.

I was told that by increasing the front arb size this would induce understeer more - but by fitting a rear arb it would combat this by reducing the understeer and encourage lift-off oversteer when provoked, thus creating a better overall balance to the car?

Or have I got that concept completely wrong?
