vRS in white?

Featured Replies

Having owned a white Mk1 Vrs for a while, I am now convinced that white is the best colour to have on a sporty car.

What do you reckon my chances are if I walk into a dealer and enquire about a new Vrs estate in white? Do you think they would entertain it or just fob me off?

You don't ask you don't get :)

I agree, I think a vRS in white would look absolutely ace.

Think the Dealer in Gillingham would be more helpfull than the Maidstone one;)

Ask for Paul at Sherlodge

why would a dealer fob you off? You want to buy one - they're in the business of selling them. whats the problem?

They think long term, when it comes to trade in, they then have a white car to sell.

Which can either sit along time on the forcourt or they have to shift it out through the trade.

A dealer doesn't care what colour you buy, if he doesn't want it come trade in time he'll just make a silly low offer or even refuse. The issue will be if the colour is available from the factory on that model.

vRS 2 is available in white now so I say go for it.

The dealer couldn't give a monkeys whether they sell you a car in white, pink or yellow (quite like the yellow VRs actually:) ). They have sales targets to meet and they don't turn away business.

If white is defo available I see no problem, unless they have stock in other colours they are keen to shift.

If I was ordering a hatch it would be in white, period. Not so sure about the estate though... :rubchin:

 Looks bloody ace!

I didnt think white was an option over here for the mk2 Vrs, hence the original post. I thought white was only available on the continent.

I feel a trip to the dealers coming on over the weekend, just got to convince the wife its a good idea.

Heres a pic of my non WRC Mk1 if anyone is interested....

I'm not sure whether the graphics and additional lights are a dealer fit option yet.
