To be rescheduled for the new year!.

Christmas Meet at the Leather Bottle on Thursday 14th December

We have a reservation for a table of 16 at the Leather Bottle in Mattingley which will mean a nice sit down Christmas meal with all the trimmings. You will have to pre-order you prefered menu choice as you will appreciate it is a busy time of year for the LB.

I'm affraid this will have to be a first come first serve but it may be possible to include some more if demand exceeds spaces available.

OK, menu available so please make your selections and add them to your names/list. The cost of it has surprised me a little at £25.95 per head which I think is a little steep but I will try and negotiate a better rate considering there should be 16 of us. I need all selections to be made by 30th November at the latest!!.

I am going to be attending this one. When you say Leather Bottle you mean the pub on the road to Reading from Guilford area, right?

I drove past it the other day, my Grandma lives nearby and she needs an Xmas visit.

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

Hi, I've recently sold my MK2 and bought a MK3. I'm having issues with the exhaust gas getting into the coolant. I need to find out what is causing this. Is it likely to be the EGR or something more serious like a blown head gasket or a crack in the block? I've only had this car for 5 weeks so am looking to approach the dealer I bought it from. They only gave a 30 day warranty. They already had it in for a week and were supposed to repair this but they haven't done it.

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which
