Xenons abroad

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if there is a simple method of adjusting the lights for driving abroad? Some Audis used to have a simple lever mechanism for this.

Alternatively can stick on beam deflectors be used with Xenons without an overheating/lense discolourisation problem occuring. Many thanks

There's a little lever inside them I think. My manual says something about how to adapt them. It's a bit of a faf on though as it involves removing the light! I don't think overheating would be a problem with beam benders but the self leveling function may be.

HI Thanks for the reply - which manual is that? I checked with the maindealer and they quote

Page 148 of the Owner's Manual: ...'this adaptation (to L/RHD) is achieved by switching over the shroud for the low beam in the headlight module. This measure is carried out by your Skoda dealer.'

I used the Halford sticky adapters with no problems.
