Dash Board Light

Featured Replies

Hi Skoda Gurus

The 'filament' shaped (??glow plug??) dashboard light is flashing whilst I am driving along.

Glow plug warmup light lights-up briefly on ignition as normal, but then starts to flash after about 10 miles.

I have a diesal Octavia 1.9 estate and had a service about 10K ago but is not yet due for another.

The manual doesn't mention what this means - anyone got any idea please?

Thanks

Pete H

That light gets used for a number of things besides the glow plugs. Check your brake lights: the glowplug warning has been known to light up for a blown brake light bulb or faulty brake light switch.

I would think brake light switch as mentioned above.
