Chris

Yep. The only decent thing on that programme!

Well apart from the ZZR 1400!

Think I'll enter the competition and win one :) Then again, I wonder what it'd cost just to keep it on the road if they introduce a green tax - probably more than most of us earn in a year.

Was it my imagination, or did the presenter look slightly shaken after his demo?

Mo

That's one fearsome beast. Glad he didn't meet anyone coming on that country lane though!

Pity they're giving the girly one away though ;)

Well that was decent but I don't think they really did it justice ;)

Chris

Did get across the point that it would scare you sh*tless though, I thought!

Of the series so far:D :D :D

i think Tiff giving it some stick around the track may just have done it justice , did look like a bit (a lot) of an animal:D

I thought it strange that it was cheaper than the standard one!

Looks like a right laugh tho'.

saw it at MPH, stunning car, its currently top of my next car list. Interestingly theres a twin turbo conversion available for the old one which would I think put it above the new one.

re the new one being cheaper that should be a good lever to get some serious discount on any of the old ones still left.

Either way a practical "ish" fun car for the family man, all it needs is the exhaust replacing with something more audible & away you go with that V8 rumble

I've been in a remapped (ordinary) one and they are absolutely fantastic. I can only assume the VXR\VXR500 to be even better.

£20K at 12 months old too thanks to the Vauxhall badge

You're thinking about it! Aren't you? :rolleyes::rofl:

now, thats the car I want when:rofl: I win the lottery, everybody I know thinks they are cr*p , but I love 'em.

Didn't know there was one on telly last night, wonder if it'l be repeated?

Just had a quick look on Vauxhall's website and a quick search turned up a late 2004 model for
everybody I know thinks they are cr*p , but I love 'em.

I should imagine that opinion would change if they actually knew anything about them...

I sat in the one at MPH too:thumbup:

The seats, driving position all suited me perfectly. I've been wanting one of these for a long time, and to be honest, the 500 on tv just convinced me I Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed! one.

Have you a link for the turbo conversion Stuart please?

 sounded ok to me!

Not a fan of the Monaro, but I bow down to that one.
