I had a Fabia when they first came out in Fantasy green..a very bright minty green colour. On the Isle Of Wight where I live there were only a few bought, me and my sister in law had one and I knew most of the other one or two.

A bit random, I just wondered if anyone owned one, or what peoples opinions were on this colour. They stopped making it about a year or two after launch and introduced Ocean green..which I'm not keen on. I'm gathering fantasy green was not popular?

Theres one in Berwick , I think it would suit a lowered , custom Furby with tints and big wheels , its a bit bright for a standard car tho!

Sorry, but I think it's the worst colour Skoda ever produced. I'm all for avoiding the N-shades-of-grey they go for nowadays, but Fantasy Green was a bit too art deco for me.

My local dealer said it was the only colour he insisted on taking a deposit for when ordering one just in case he got left with it :rofl:

Whenever I see one I can't help but think "Armitage Shanks" (and no, that's not rhyming slang!).

Admittedly, it was known here as SEB green, as the Southern Electric board used vans in a similar colour!!!

i have a fantasy green 2001 fabia and i think it is a brilliant colour one of the main reasons why i bought it! everyone i know who has seen my car comments on how much they like the colour of it i dont know anyone who doesnt like it. i have only seen another 2 in this colour so i take it, it is a bit of a rare colour i wonder how many of them there is?

It reminds me of that Peppermint Green you used to be able to get mk3 Golfs in , (also Polos IIRC) but the VW colour was mettallic. It may not be to everyones tastes , but it makes a change from silver , seeing as how nearly every other car seems to be silver , grey , gunmetal or a mixture of the 3!

Love the colour ! But i am biased towards green,Green Favorit estate in bright caribean green,Snot green 1977 "120L" No contest !

Would like a Tdi estate in Fantasy Green,lowered,light tinting and 16" Speelines in white.

That was the colour I was on about , I think it looks good!

I do have to say the polo looks quite nice, it suits it. But I seen (or at least I think I did) a furby at derek slacks in fantasy green and had to turn away in disgust

I personally wouldnt have one but any colour is nice if its your own.

I think the Skoda colours generally are spot on though:thumbup:

I recon Fantasy Green would look mint (pun intended) on a 1980s style Cal Look Vw!

theres a few around down in cornwall....dont live there at the moment defenatly different! brave colour to have! prefer yellow tho:D
