Little worried about electrics - lights

Featured Replies

Just traded in my old 2002 Fabia Comfort for a 2005 TDi Ambiente and have a couple of tech type queries :-

The old Fabia door lights worked fine, on the new one they don't - manual says optional in some markets?(I'm based in Dublin, Ireland) how can I check to see if they should work - is there a fuse specifically I can check to see is blown?

The main beam on one of the headlights is blown (test drove it in daylight and forgot to check all bulbs) - in three years of owning my last Fabia no headlight bulbs blew - yet this one is just over a year old and is blown - coupled with the door lights I'm worried that I've just bought a lemon ?

I could just bring it back to the dealer but they are based quite a long way from where I live and getting time of work to drop car off etc is just not going to happen at the moment, I'll replace the front bulb myself as it looks like a simple job.

Thanks for any advice.
