Oz is fascinating, huge, mostly hot, and all the wildlife is lethal. NZ is somewhat cooler and wetter but beautiful. And not so many people! And no lethal wildlife!

The flat things - you get brown cockroachy things - is that what she means? You also see them if you move a rock in the garden, along with little freaky jumpy flea-like things!

Slightly damp is an understatement with our old postbox - it wasn't deep enough for A4 so all the junk mail was left sticking out, making a nice rain funnel to soak the proper post!!

We have a shiny new big postbox now with a "No junk" sticker. Hehe. Works too!

At least I don't need to worry about someone fishing my car keys out through the letter box!!

I'll leave the sucking of 'Fishermens' Friends' to the fishermen.... (cough).

These two weren't touched up in photoshop, taken when we had a period of fog, so I went down, tripod in tow at 3am and took them.... Freezing!!! lol
