Can someone with access to ETKA/ETOS do me a favour please, and find out what the part number of the blank button is in the centre console? I'd like to replace mine with a new and improved (mainly without holes) version

And whilst you are at it, can you also find out what the part number is for the cupholder that would slot in underneath the radio? Think it is a VW item.

ETOS tells me, that of the three blank covers available one, the religious one you have (holey one ) is part number 1U0 858 179C "Blind cover, satin black" This is the middle one of the 3, and I assume the heated screen button you have on the far left is a standard item and not a blanked off option on some lower spec models.... I shall go rummaging through the VW models now, but hold out little hope unless you know what models came with that cupholder as standard.

You could try 1J0 858 601 D which appears to be the dash mounted drink / cupholder from a 2004/05 golf. It appears to be a hoirzontally mounted fairly flat item from the piccie, but a bit hard to make out.

In the above thread they have pictures of the cupholder... Sadly it isn't what I am looking for. I need something as big as the DIN slot underneath the radio, and this is smaller than that. It also isn't really suitable for high cups (like my travel coffee mug ).

After waiting for ages on an ebay seller (who is breaking an octy vrs) to list the blank button for me, I just called Skospares and it's being send out today

And fitted :woohoo:
