Lowering 4x4

Featured Replies

Can you just swap the springs & dampers from a Vrs to a 4x4? Or do you need other parts/adjustments? I would like less roll but not to lower the car too much. Would I need to change the roll bars as well? Or would there be an improvement from the Vrs set up with 4x4 roll bars? I have standard wheels and tyres.

no the springs and dampers are different, but you can get aftermarket springs and dampers for 4x4.....

Have you seen this thread?

Bite the Bullit mate!

KW springs & dampers start at 600 nuts.

Done mine & don't fall out the window any more.

You pays for what you get.

Probably right, just trying to be cheap skate. Expensive year so far, just had 4 tyres, service and revo, then new clutch cos of revo:eek: , and now need cam belt, so maybe next year!

I've got some H&R springs which came off my 4x4 estate if your interested.

I could be but please note cheap skate comment above! As a matter of interest what did you replace them with?

so maybe next year!

Only 5 & a bit weeks to go then.

I've put some Golf 4motion estate sport springs on. Rides the same as standard just not as high.

I'd like £75 plus postage for the H&R springs.
