Remote Control Batteries - An idiots guide -

Featured Replies

A minor thing I know, but useful never the less. The remote control (flickkey type) takes either of the following batteries;

CR2032 x1

or

CR2016 x2

If you're like me & the battery dies on the Petrol station forecourt this morning, things like this are good to know, (but hard to remember) I also found you don't need to lever the key open with your swiss army knife either. Just flick open the key, hold the metal part of the key in one hand with the unlock button in the other hand. Then crack open the remote along the upper edge side (not the flat button side) The battery(s) are held in the lower keyring section which splits in two along the side.

There you go, full of useless information me :roll:
