Breakdown Recovery

Featured Replies

With my 3 year warranty coming to an end in a few days time:thumbdwn: :( I am on the look out for breakdown recovery, should I stay with The AA or go somewhere else.

I think you will find that if you stop with the AA and explain that you have been with them through Skoda for the last 3 years you will get the same cover but at a good discount........

Go on moneysupermarket.com They are good, you will be surprised how cheap breakdown cover can be.

RAC and AA are about the same AFAIAK and greenflag cheaper because its local garages instead of permanent AA/Rac patrols....

RAC tho do give you a discount every year you do not make a claim......

If you have Tesco clubcard there was a very good RAC offer.

AA all they way.

Did mine this time last year

I went with Tesco breakdown cover as I was pretty unimpressed with the AA sales pushiness on the phone (and the cost for cover!). Got to test Tesco and they came out in under 40 minutes and were very impressive. They use Green Flag.

Chris

I checked prices of the AA and RAC ,they were ridiculous.

I wasnt bothered about breakdown at home ,and am retired. I dont do a lot of miles , and went with 'First Call GB' via the Internet. I pay
