Portsmouth RR Day - Sat 20/1/07

Featured Replies

They are a rough guide but we can make changes if required. Not at all set in concrete.

Did you have a time in mind Stuart?

The time I was given was fine, I will try & get there to see the little 1.4 go through its paces or at the very least in time for lunch.

Im interestred to see what their thought are re the DPF.

Ive also been told by a knowledgeable diesel person that the cars unlikely to make the manufactureres claimed power the way its designed, thats the real purpose of the exercise, possibly another little argument with Skoda coming :) :)

A real quality day, it was excellent to put names to faces, faces to names, we had a great turnout and it was worth the 460 miles round trip.

So....

Big thanks to Steve M for doing the legwork

JKM for the hospitality and lightneing of wallet

Stu for sorting out some vag comming

Gerry for the highly amusing "lights" show

Des for his octy :D when on the rollers it cleared the wax from my ear

and thanks to everyone else for turning up and making a great day of it, sorry I had to bail a little bit early but the kids where giving mrs fluffmeister an ear bashing about why daddy was not home.

Questions :D

Harry how did it go "after"

Mr Revo --------- where are my other 20 ponies your website promises ;) ;) ;)

Last thing, is'nt it funny how some people look NOTHING like there brisky names may suggest

cheers folks

Fluff'

PS PS

I nipped onto a private road on the way home that was empty, and saw some numbers on the GPS to do with speed before having to back off, there was a one, a six in there and a two at the end or something ....... but I may have been dreaming or hallucinating.

PS PS PS

I caused a bit of a scene at Norton Canes services and had a "talking to", my excuse was, I was tired, needed a pee and did NOT become aware of the lack of urinals in the toilet or the gender of it's clients until after I left the cubicle

Great day out :D

I've just realised today I gave the wrong engine lid for Mr J5. Hope he's still OK with the one he got. :D:rofl:

Absolutely whacked but thoroughly enjoyed the day and I'm pretty sure most did too

Post your piccies and videos on this thread please.

As all of the above have said cracking day out:thumbup: JKM:D

good day and well went lovely except the slight loss of direction and sight of other members during the evening jaunt

but great day and thanks to everyone that organised it and thanks to JKM for both good company friday and running a faultless and brilliant day saturday

thanks to WW_VRS+lady for good company and conversation during dinner

Just got back about half an hour ago. Glad I made the trip now, really enjoyed it - it's nice to put names to faces.

The journey back was rather entertaining. I decided to go M3>M25>M1 instead of taking the A34 and had no problems with traffic ;)

Big big thanks to everyone involved in organising the event and to JKM for providing several of their services. :D:thumbup:

Rather a good day out :D

Anyone got any ideas what JKM are doing with all the pictures that THEY took today??

they are putting them together with the RR results and posting them up on their site as the Briskoda RR day with out results :)
