Do you know which fuel pump the 1.9 diesel classic estate uses? Thinking of buying a skoda but also fancy doing veg oil conversion. I have heard that bosch fuel pumps are easier to convert than Lucas. Can anyone help? The car I am looking at is W reg.

There's a W reg Felicia, apparently with a Lucas pump, running on vegetable oil on this site:

yeah, there is two different pumps listed for the felicia diesels, they are both Lucas DPC units

thanks very much. lucas pump is the one in the felicia i have now bought. going to try to convert it to veg oil in the spring - keeping my fingers crsossed, but folk i know who have done it swear its amazing, and better for the environment too.
