Hey everyone, I joined a couple of weeks ago when my partner was looking at buying a Octavia VRS. Wanted to read up on what he should be looking for, etc. Anyways he got it on yesterday, an 02 plate black VRS. So far we're both pretty damned impressed. Both quite into modifying our motors but can see this one remaining relatively standard.

Hi & Welcome to briskoda.

Quite a few people have said their cars will stay standard, doesnt usually last long though!

Actually I think you may be right, we're the same will every car we buy. Start of saying that they will stay standard and a month or so later we can't help ourselves. He's already been scanning ebay to see whats available for them.

Hi Lisa.

So, are you starting with a chip/remap, a brake uprate, or 18"s? ;)

Standard alloys are actually quite cool. Likely look into the chip/remap.

Good choice, although I'd be tempted by fast road pads first.

Remap is the first thing you should get done :D

hi. and welcome lisa. remap and 312 disc's is the way 2 go, hay. :D

welcome :wavey:

Tell your partenr, he is looking in the wrong place for mods, plenty of research here, should get you all the ideas you need, and the best place for quality parts etc.

A Good Vrs should only have good quality parts. :D
