starter motor maybe ???

Featured Replies

i started the car earlier and it seemed very lazy starting is my starter motor on its way out i did a 250 mile run with lights and wipers on with no loss o f eletrics

so assume alternator is ok

i had some work done last week on the gearbox would the strter motor have been removed if so could they have not put it back on right or not done the connection up right

or am i just hoping the wrong thing and it s on its way out

Might be a good idea to check the earth cable.

ah yorkshire men ever so friendly i've just got back from york today

i did enjoy the york to whitby road over tut moors

Suspect starter power lead, rather than earth lead, cos the earth lead earths the block, and hence the spark plugs, not just the starter motor. Either way, it's pointing at the blokes who had the box out.
