Drove Star Performances Leon today....

Featured Replies

And it was a hoot, what fantastic power delivery, 291bhp at the moment with a turbo change just around the corner, cant remember the torque figures but I think it was around 230-240 lb/ft.

I am seriously considering one as my next motor, I think Kenny had a wee shot of it too, certainly made me :D

what engine mate?

my octavia produces 257 lbft from "just" 220 bhp

Your up there a lot are you going yellow ?

it's the new leon, so i'd assume a 2.0TFSI ? brakes on it look badass

yeah i drove it a week or so ago . :D yeah it is a 2.0tfsi started as the lower bhp version

really was fantastic! i cant remember the torque figure but think it was a fair bit higher mate.

as far as the leon as a car, dashboard really disappoints

based on driving, the thing was amazing, star performance have worked wonders acceleration was really impressive. they have upgraded the suspension and brakes. not sure how much it would cost to replicate it but was a great bit of kit

Jim told me you were up Kenny, did you get your manifold sorted??

to replicate the power levels its 'only' GIAC software, filter&exhaust around 1600 quid. Add a fmic onto that at about 600, I believe the turbo conversion that is iminent will take it to around 340 horses which is nice. the brakes are phenomenal too, tarox 10 pots.

Glider, No yellow for me mate, it's time for a new timing belt, but since they have the bonnet open..... ;)

ah ok, yeah have been up a few times but yeah fingers crossed the mani bolts hold this time :)

Jim is looking into the GIAC software for my car, will get it mapped as soon as i get the money :( or a new S3

yeah the brakes are amazing, pedal feel is superb! 4th gear pull was frighteningly good :D

This is the leon you want ;)

Welcome to Leon Turbo!

jesus thats some power that:cool:

That's a lot of power through the front wheels !

I'm gonna book in with Star for a service in Feb, will have to try hard to resist getting remapped ........
