Sad question, I know, but Where Is The Diagnostics Port Located on a Mk II Octavia Tdi?

A mate has bought VAG diagnostics software for an Audi RS2 and wants to see the different readouts on my machine.

Lower fascia just above the bonnet release lever.

Tricky little devil to find, well hidden. We ran my mates VAG-COM and it found a few faults. All cleared now.

Is that the Purple one with 16 pins in it?

Also, is this where you plug in when you use the Superchips Bluefin remap?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but new to this VAG COM and Bluefin lark so need to make sure in case I end up doing some serious damage. :bawl: :blow_up:

Yep thats the one.

Does it tell you to plug it into the OBDII plug / socket? if so then yes, (that is the only plug that shape on the car to my knowledge anyway)

(OBD = on board diagnostics)
