Additional vRS badging?

Featured Replies

Anyone considering adding a TFSI or a TDI badge to their vRS? Haven't seen the vRS TDI yet but i imagine there is nothing to distinguish the 2 versions. I see the Leon FR uses the TFSI and TDI badging on the side, a silver T and the FSI in red and a red TDI badge.

You can tell by the colour of the brake calibers the difference between a petrol and a diesel vrs. Petrol definately green and diesel red (i think)

All Vrs's from the 2007 model onwards now have red calipers.

I think

Yep all MY2k7 will have red.

if anything you should be removing badges not adding them! more would look tacky personally...

Not into the whole debadging thing myself. Why would you want to remove the vRS badge? Anyhow i agree that too much is as bad but just a thought if you want to show its the petrol or diesel model.

The whole badging thing gives a real insight into driver psychology.

I have read that in the UK drivers of smaller engined BMW 3 series (eg 318i) will opt for a de-badge whereas in Germany the opposite is true; the 330i drivers are more likely to de-badge.

Also note that even though the Golf is available with the 170 diesel, it isn't badged GTI (GT ?).

Personally I think the diesel doesn't deserve the vRS badge!

Well I've lit the blue touch paper.....

I like mine badged but i can see why people debadge it dose look pretty tidy without. So no more badges for me thanks. (tdi vrs it's the future)
