Thinking about a Tom Tom any advice

Featured Replies

Looking for a sat nav system for the octy, been looking at the tom tom one. GB only needed at the moment and would like speed camera locations, do you think this would be the best one to go for about the same price range ie 150-200 mark or are there any others worth having a gander at first ?

Garmin.

Use the new TomTom One GB edition for work....very slim, and accurate so far.

For the price of a tomtom one GB, you can get the Garmin c510d with uk and ireland preloaded + speed cameras, a DVD with europe maps that you can put on a memory card + lifetime trafficmaster TMC coverage for £199.

the package is only avaliable at Halfords though

I've got the c510d and would highly recommend it. Previously I was using Tom Tom on my pda.

I have a TTone and love it although it has tried to make me drive through a gate to a field once. I particularly like the re routing if you make a wrong turn it recalculates and guides you back on track. It could do with some extra voices though, I'm getting fed up with KenKen the australian

It's very simple to use with a touch screen and it stores your favourites (never store your address as home) you can also look on a map and store a place, you don't need a postcode

I've got extra voices for the PDA version do they work on TTone?

hmm....just saw TT one now cost 159.99 at Halfords.....tempting indeed

Can't fault TT software. Very easy to use and being popular, there is more sites out there for speed cam/ poi stuff.
