vRS and Golf R32 Steering Wheel

Do any members have a mk4 VW Golf R32 steering wheel fitted to their vRS? Got one on my Gora and fancy swapping it over to a vRS but I know the vRS has the perforated handbrake and gear **** so dont want it to look out of place. I know EddyH has one on his Octavia, but if anyone had one on a Furby that would be great. Any info or your opinions are appreciated. Cheers

Its one of ony 3 in the UK. Its a VW Bora with a Golf front end, know as a Gora. The Golf with a Bora front end is known as a Bolf.

Yes, the R32 Steering Wheel fits the Fabia, with the Fabia Airbag.

Cheers Josh, pretty much thought it would. Does anyone have any pictures of one fitted to a Fabia to see how it compares with the perforated gear lever and handbrake?

2. Is there a multi-function steering wheel available and if so, could that be VAGCOM'd to the standard HU?

Thats 2 questions mate;) . Anyway, you cant change the logo's on the airbags as they come as a complete, very expensive unit. But if you already have a 3 spoke Skoda wheel your laughing as you'll already have the airbag. As for your 2nd question, you can't get a multi-function R32 wheel, just one like mine above as the R32 never came with steering wheel controls. HTH

Dear Forum I'm looking about for a new-to-me Scout in the UK, and am surprised to see that some of the later (2018/19) DSG Scouts are advertised as having the 148/150hp engines. I had been under the impression that UK Scouts were either 150hp manual or 184hp DSG - but that seems not necessarily to be so. Does anyone know whether there are indeed 150hp DSG vehicle about - or have these simply been inadvertently misdescribed by the vendors? Many thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

Fuse for glove box light?

The light in the glove box has stopped working. I know the bulb is okay, and I’ve used a multimeter across the contacts on the connector which is showing no voltage at all. Going through the list of fuses, the glovebox light fuse is not listed separately or even as a part of other lighting. It would be useful to know the correct fuse and if any other items also tie to it, since everything else works fine and it can narrow it down to the switch. Thanks in advance!

Having issues with the p2196 engine code. Code reader reads bank1 stuck so had it replaced today by a garage and its clearly new but after 30 miles of her eating fuel like ive never seen before the engine code has come back on with the same code. Only had the car 3 months but it has got egr and dpf delete so could this play a part into why this code is recurring or could it be electrical issue. It definitely has electrical issues as it tells you to check numberplate lights that are clearly worki

Hey guys, Sadly it's looking like my Octavia days which have been pretty brilliant could be at an end, unless I can find a replacement engine. Looking like a blown head gasket/cracked/warped head so it's not driveable now and boiling away (95C+ even without the thermostat in). It's also had a burning engine oil issue for years. It's a 110 ASV engine. So my options are: Say goodbye to my brilliant Octavia ☹️ Try and find a replacement engine, throw it in and hope. Downsides are obviously the
