estimated 0-60 times after a remap

Featured Replies

I timed that at just under 9 seconds to 60, and 23 seconds to 100.

I have seen one get 6.9 on a Gtech

Mine however is not remapped though in any way as that would void my warranty.

I would say a Fabia vRS as standard does about 9 seconds to 60, and a remapped one somewhere in the order of high 7's. It's not a lack of power, it's a lack of traction. If you did a 0-60 on shellgrip surfacing it might be a bit quicker. ;)

Wahooo! :woohoo: Someone else has also hit the nail on the head. :D

Yep...first gear wheelspin.....second gear wheelspin .......third and you start getting some grip

Now you understand why I got a Quaife ATB + decent tyres, I can vouch for the tyre thing being extremely crucial to get decent traction, in the wet even more so.

The Conti SCIIs I had originally were reasonable in the dry, not great in the wet, GY GSD3s were great in the wet but side wall wasn't strong enough.

Will keep trying different ones I suppose LOL ;)

Let me know when you find the ultimate ones, Mr WW. :D I'm finding good grip with the T1-Rs in the dry, but in the wet they seem the same as the T1-S, although we're having a particularly greasy type of "wet" at the moment. Really having to watch my step on the roads at the moment.

I dunno about 9.6 secs in the book being true to be fair as dont they have it timed with like half a load and a full tank etc!

I think standard in the furby if road is good and traction half decent mid 8's would be good guess! My m8 has 140 bhp veccy and other has paxo vtr (along with mrs) and considering vtr book time is 8.3 along with my mates veccy they both were shocked as my furby won.

After the remap i would think 7-7.5 secs would be ave (same as cooper s etc similar bhp cars that yes weigh less but have loads less torque as well)

just my thoughts!

dont matter though as as standard mine still makes me smile

saxo vtr 60 in 8.3 i think i have wet myself with laughter add another second and you will be about right

Mine gets remapped every time the wife takes it out - it goes down to 65 BHP.

Thats just the weight in the boot from all the shopping, car's power is still the same...

ok ok spud gun spot the mistake in their lol sorry i meant 9.3 secs lol :finger:

sorry bud i thought u was serious !!!

I've seen the same in my mates Fabia vRS.

i managed 6.6 with a G-tech, 6.7 using VagCom and 6.9 at Trax...

0-100 is roughly 17/18secs

I got a 14.8 secs 1/4 mile at 92mph

60-100 is around 11/12 secs

and 30-70 was under 6 secs...

Mines a tweaked pd130 Ibiza, if that makes any difference.

Let me know when you find the ultimate ones,

I think We all know the answer to that one Jason ;)

Only that the beezers seem to come out a lot lighter than the fabias.

Really....?

Strange that... mine was a 5 door aswell!

Must be the spaniards forgetting parts out!

Not sure - its 1200kg right? The furbies come in at an extra 100kg.

Mine does 0-60 in about 3.5 seconds.

I always thought that Ibiza's r a bit faster than Fabia's

Superb comes in at an extra 200kg over the Furbie :o:rofl:

Cool info guys, I mean as stated real world figures are different, and probably 30-70 times are more suitable.

I mean does any stop when they get from 0-60
