Was I unreasonable?

Featured Replies

yeah, I've just been back to look at the figures and as you say the DTD discount is about £2k not £3200.

As for shi.... rubbish trade in values I thought you were being offered a poor p/x value.

As your doing a PCP try Sainsburys, they are very competitive plus give them a ring as I've found in the past they give a better price on the phone than their website suggests.

6.6% for a PCP is very good so I doubt you'll beat that, but if you can get a few more hundred pounds off you could probably beat the deal.

My car is on PCP but Skoda wouldn't go to 30000 miles per year so I had to look elsewhwere.

The other thing that's worth a try is putting your p/x on autotrader, I know it's a pain but you will come out of the deal better off if you manage to sell.

Happy hunting, let us know how you get on.

Well, I'm sure someone is going to say I've been done, but I've ordered it from my local dealer.

What counts is if you are happy with the deal.

Have you got to wait long?

Yeah I'm happy enough, I would have liked a bit more in trade in, I know my car won't hit the forecourt it'll be sold that quick.

Car will be delivered around March, which is fine as it gives me time to sort out my registration transfer. :)

Enjoy the car!

I know you have gone for the new car now, but when I was looking for my Octavia last year I found that the ex demo cars (with less spec) were more expensive than when I purchased my new Elegance Octy.

Plus of course, the new car doesn't have the demo miles.
