Felicia Fault - Ignition

Featured Replies

Chaps and Chapesses, I hope you can help.

I own an R reg Skoda Felicia 1.6 GLX recently I had to put up with the leaky sunroof and the thermostat. Now the car just won't start. In recent days the car started and would then stall, but then you could start it a second time and it would work fine and dandy. Now it simply won't start. We think it maybe the ignition coil, but we cannot be sure, does it sound like this sort of fault. Looking through forums it doesn't sound like a common problem. Hope you can help.

Thanks in Advance,

Tony

:) It could well be the coil, but before you start buying parts you need to establish wether the fault is fuel or ignition. Start by checking for a spark at the plugs. If there is a good spark then you'll probably have a fuel system fault, if not then you know you need to check the ignition system.
