What About A Felicia?

Featured Replies

need to get a new car for SWMBO to replace the aged Metro.

ideal budget of about 2-3K.Wondered about a Felicia.... any comments - good or bad.

No I cannot afford a Furby

anything to watch out for

or if not what sensible alternatives, already got the vRS so this will purely be for basic use with no long trips and only about 3-4K miles a year not worth getting a tdi

thanks

ford ka in that price range? not sure.

wife had one, fantastic city car and honestly a hoot to drive!

I had a Felicia as a courtesy car, and it was the worst car I've ever driven, including the Micra and the Rover Metro I learned in, and my girlfriend's old clapped out Citroen ZX. For the money, you'd be much better off getting a Micra or similar.

Get a micra CVT good little city cars, or a Matiz not exactly a drivers car but ok for short mileages?

The Felicia is a good car, despite what Witchfinder says above it is certainly superior to the metro and Citreon. Iquite like the Micra myself, but the Felicia is bigger. The only fault I ever had in over 100K miles in 2 Felicia's was the Alternator.

Still for very low mileages a little Micra would be just as good and easier to find a good example off.

My wife went from a Metro to a Felicia 1.6. The Felicia is reliable and cheap to service, but unexciting to drive. Power steering is essential.
