Possibly looking at selling the vRS too free up some money for a venture, and was wondering what price would I be looking at putting the car for sale at?

Brand new 4 x pirelli p zero fitted a month ago with 4 wheel alignment

One owner before I purchased the car in March this year from a Skoda dealer.

Like I said it's just to weight up my options currently.

i would think about 7500 private, would sell the mods though for abit of money back, abviously not the brakes and remap

ill buy your cat if you sell items seprately ;) its the only way you sill see money from your mods

Yeah...

How much for;

Carbonio CAI

Baileys DV 30 dump valve

I think about £6500 private. When can I pick it up?

Bump for any better ideas on price for selling, looks like I might only be in the country for a few more months before setting off for the US of A too work for a extended period.

Having a look on the likes of pistonheads and autotrader would £8500 be a fair amount?

I won't be stripping the mods.

For a private sale in good condition, £7500. I'd advertise it a bit higher than that though.

Mods don't add value to the car, unless you can sell to the right person.

That's my worry about the price dropping so much in a year!

Wonder what the selling price would be in a years time if I let my father use the car for 12 months, and then if I stay in America sell it then, if not I'll come home too her!

If your In the States for a year can you not take her with you or would it cost too much??

I should be out there for a min year, but I might be there for unto 3 so I don't think it's worth keeping her as I can use the money then for a car over there.

I would just buy a cheap MX5 for keeping in the garage until I go over and then the little bro can keep it until I come back.

My brother tried for ages to sell what used to be my old vRS. Mods really put people of buying, if you can remove them then do so. You will still get the same for the car without mods, and it will be much easier to sell. You will also be able to make a reasonable amount of extra cash for the mods.

To sell with mods, you will need someone who wants them on the car to begin with, severely restricting your market. he sold with mods, 2 years older than yours with 54K on the clock for 5.5K. Couldnt get anymore, as no one was interested due to the mods and increased insurance costs.

Hmm that gets me thinking on how much hassle it would be getting the car back to standard.

The dump valve would be left on, the brakes/pads, Clifford alarm, and of course the map.

So the only real mods worth selling then are the exhaust and the CAI, now god knows how much hassle the exhaust would be too sell and swap for a standard, and I don't have some of the parts left for the standard air filter to revert it back too standard.

Shame your in north wales, I have a full mk1 vRS exhaust system which is complete from turbo back in the garage.
