VRS Cold Starting

Featured Replies

I have had my new VRS now for several weeks and I have noticed that when cold starting, you need to crank it over for about 3 secs & then it fires up. Hot starting is instant.

Is this normal for the new VRS ?, as the old version started much quicker.

Thanx

Noticed nothing untoward here. I'd say not normal.

I read an American VW TSB last night about cold start problems on the TFSi I'll see if I see it again.

I've had this on a few occassions.

Same here, doesn't fire up half as quickly as the old one.

As far as I can remember mine is okay.
